Across the Red River for Across the Himalayas
Grandmother and Granddaddy came to Ada for "Across the Himalayas," which inluded the first screening in ECU's seventh annual foreign film festival--a film from Nepal, "The Black Hen,"--a book discussion about "The Inheritance of Loss," by Kiran Desai, and hand-made Nepalese dumplings.

At LBJ's Boyhood Home
Granddaddy and Norah joined us for a two-night vacation trip to San Antonio. We took the Burleson, Cleburne, Meridian, Cranfills Gap, Hamilton, Lampassas route to Johnson City and our first destination: the boyhood home of Lyndon Baines Johnson.
